Actor and Spectator

Sometimes I think that the achievement of a work of art does not happen when the artist finishes the painting, but at the moment when the encounter between the work and the spectator of the work takes place.

In order to fully enter inside a work of art, one must not 3ask what is it that the painter saw? but rather let the feelings appear without neither questions nor answers, so the communication happens in an analysis-free space. We must not look for the reasons of the reds or blues, the position of the objects in the space, that space in which the landscape, the figure, the movement, abstraction, colour,…, everything has its place.

It is very difficult for a painter to write or discourse on feelings; feelings which sometimes happen when carrying out the work, when the executor does not feel like an actor but as a spectator of his own creation.
